6/1/11- Serra has been blazing up the trails off the farm! She is super smart, attentive and very willing. This mare could excel at any discipline and would make a great endurance mount. She is very sensible and easy to communicate with. We can't say enough good things about her!
5/11/11- Serra is settling in great and has made friends with King- so far they are inseparable. She gets her first pair of shoes today and we are excited to try them out this weekend! She is a sweet little mare and very respectful and easy to handle. She likes attention and people and the trainer thought she would make a great hunter pony. Stay tuned!
Serra is a 14 year old bay registered Arabian Mare. Walks-trots-canters under saddle. Sweet little horse. Suitable for an intermediate rider. Once in awhile (the first 10 minutes of the ride) she will test you but after that she is great. She is very smart and just as pretty. She is currently in training at Rodden Equine but will be home at the rescue May 4th. We plan on taking her out to the river bottoms and in saddle club rides to build confidence and gain experience.
